Message from Pritesh kot, CHYK-West National Secretary

Hari Om Everyone,

This has been an exciting year so far for the Chinmaya Family. After a very successful camp in Orlando, the board had clear direction as to how to proceed for the rest of the year, and what kind of projects we want to take on and accomplish.

Take a look at our web-site regularly for upcoming events, camps, trips, and publications releasing. There is a ton of information available here and in our other Chinmaya Mission Web-sites. The CHYK Exposure trip is coming soon, please take a look here to see full details and the itinerary of the trip, looks like a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The CHYK West board is working hard right now on a few important projects, one I would like to mention here is the formalization of the BalaVihar graduation process. We are working towards standardizing this ceremony in order to ensure continuation as our students make the transition into University and College life. A new online form has been created specifically for this purpose at this link. If you are a teacher, or a local organizer who would like more information about this package. Please contact us and we can send you all the details.

We are always looking for volunteers to help out with various projects we have lined up. If you are interested in helping out in any way, please contact us through the contact form on the CHYK West page.

For more detailed information about CHYK-West, I encourage you to visit our website at http://www.chykwest.com.  The site contains a treasure of information you can learn more about the organization and our objectives, access articles, contact your regional CHYK secretary, learn about local activities in your area, but most importantly, you can learn how to get involved!

Meet life as it reaches you. With or without the things our minds demand, Life can be a brilliant success. But, for this, we must discover something else to depend upon. Seek that something in yourself; not outside.
- Swami Chinmayanandaji

Love,
Pritesh Kot
